How to create a clickable HTML-map using paul 0.0.6
---------------------------------------------------
Because I think it is a feature which may be interesting for the
public I try to give a short hint *how to* use it.
* Load the image you want to insert something in (called target in
the later) and the image you want to insert.
* Make the image to insert the operating image holding down
the -key and pressing the right or middle mouse
button (make sure that this image is smaller than the target
because it is rejected if it is to big to insert).
* Make the target activ by selecting it in the filelist of
paul (if it is not yet) so that it is displayed in the view window.
* Choose "This image/Insert" from the menu or just press "i"
(while the file list window has the window manager focus).
* A GtkImreg window apears which let you choose the position
of the image to insert.
* In the user supplied widget field of the GtkImreg window
you can activate the HTML-output.
* Now it is possible to select the main HTML file which will
contain the target image and the link HTML file which will
be called by the browser when the area with the inserted image
is selected.
* If the main HTML file exists the link will appended else the
HTML file will be created.
* NOTE: I would be very glad about any recommendations according
to the HTML-output (tags to add, recommendations for CSS-styles,
etc.)
* After inserting the image into the target it is possible to
choose an other operating image which will be inserted next.
* For those who want to use this feature in batch mode:
paul -j[H][:url] image[s]
where `a', `b' and file are required.
`a' and `b' are the coordinates to insert the file `file'
which works as operating image to insert in this case and will
be inserted in each (!) image which is loaded by paul.
If H is specified after the `-j' option the HTML output will
be done with default names (.html). The additional
URL specifies the link to point to.
